• 2 cups rolled oats
  • 1/2 cup chopped walnuts
  • 1 tsp cinnamon
  • 1/3 cup honey
  • 1/3 cup brown sugar
  • 1/4 cup canola oil
  • 1 1/2 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1/2 cup dried cherries

DIRECTIONS:

1. Preheat oven to 300°F.

2. In a large bowl, combine oats, walnuts, and cinnamon. In a saucepan, simmer honey, brown sugar, and oil until thick. Add vanilla. Pour over oats; toss to coat.

3. Spread on a parchment-lined baking sheet. Bake, stirring occasionally, for 30 minutes or until crisp and beginning to color. Cool; stir in dried cherries.
